The Department of Earth & Environmental Science is proud to announce its newly revised Environmental Earth Science (EESC) major that will replace the current Earth Science (EASC) major as of Fall 2023 for newly declared students. The changes in the major comes with a number of changes to several course offerings, with some names changes, new courses added, changes in frequency of offerings, and omission of some courses. 

If you are curious about the changes to the major and interested in possibly re-declaring under the new, revised EESC major, the department will be holding a Q&A information session on Friday, Feb 24 at 2pm in Hayden Hall, room 358.

Prof. Alain Plante (Undergraduate Chair) and Maria Andrews (Associate Director of Undergrad Programs) will present the changes to the major and answer any question you may have as you approach course selection for Fall 2023 and major declaration.
