This talk will discuss major results from my previous work, as summarized in a poster that will go up on Friday for a session on "Filling knowledge gaps to help scale up climate action around oceans” at the COP25 in Madrid. Our former postdoc Raffa Bernardello (now at Barcelona Supercomputing) will present the poster. Work and poster co-authors are also Anna Cabre (former postdoc with me, this week on an Antarctic Expedition), Shirley Leung (former undergrad, now final year oceanography PhD student at UW), and Ekaterina Kotchetkova (new researcher in my group).
